Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 and HP 1/8 G2 Autoloader problems
we have an Windows Server 2003 with Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 Backup Software.
So we created a Job,which backups 3 Server (C: D: E: systemstate ...)
Problem:
He backup from Server 1 Drive C:
-> after that he gets an Error:
"Final Error: 0xe00084ed - A hardware error occurred. Backup Device Errors.
and Media says: End Marker unreadable
for the next backup (this is drive D: from this server) he uses the next Media.
So for one Server (Backup C: D: E: Systemstate)
the Loader uses 4 Tapes !!!
Every Tape filled up with a few MBs (390 GB possible)
So what is wrong ?
Any Ideas ???
Please Help !
