Tape is "Write-Protected"
Odd occurence with a HP C5683A-DAT 40 USB. Whenever a tape is is mounted for the backup it says "Tape is marked write-protected and will be read-only." The tape is not set for read only as the white pull panel is clearly closed. Sometimes you can select ok and it will start the backup and other times it will not. There seems to be no rhyme or reason.
OS - XP SP2
Software - Tapeware
Device - HP C5683A-DAT 40 USB
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
