Tape Rotation
Follow-on question to my last one, now that I have the changer working.
We are using Replication exec to pull data from remote file servers (mostly local home directory and shared file servers across the state). Once data is on RelicationExec server, we'll be using Backup exec to backup the data from the local server (no remote agents for BE).
With a dual-drive MSL4048, what are some suggestions for the most efficient backup scheme to include off-site storage?
(I've always mostly just worked on the hardware level, now got this dropped in my lap, so I'm working a little blind, so to speak.)
THANK YOU!

Re: Tape Rotation
Addendum:
It will be close to 500MB (though we have almost 1TB of storage - room for growth), and 800GB tapes (assuming 2:1 compression).
