TL892
I have a problem with a tape library TL892. There was a hardware problem and the maintanance company changed the whole unit which does work in their workshop but here, what ever I do, it won't see the 2 drives. L&TT does the same, won't see the 2 drives. ID's can be seen and are correct. Did generate one message, it said the drives are set to off line and may be reconfigured. The cabling is spot on to HP manual. FW on drives and Robotics has been updated. Veritas 8.0 Rev 3315.
We've tried everything. Looks like it maybe a driver problem I think but not sure. Any advice at all would be a great help as it's a critical machine.

Re: TL892
Hi,
Are you sure it's a like for like library ?
There were two variants of the TL89x library, one which is LVD (the TL89xDLX) and one HVD (the TL89x)...
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob
