I have a Compaq TL895. A drive went bad, was replaced and now I cannot run mutliple backup jobs at once. Using Veritas 9.0.4454. I receive the following message:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Backup Exec
Event Category: None
Event ID: 58053
Date: 11/25/2003
Time: 11:36:27 AM
User: N/A
Computer: XXXXXSB5
Description:
Backup Exec Alert: Device Error
(Server: "XXXXXSB5") Robotic library hardware error.
All drives go offline.
Veritas says it's a hardware issue. I have the TL895 SCSI attached to Fiber Channel Tape Controllers then to an ML530 Server.

Re: TL895 Robotic Hardware Error
Re-calibrating the library worked. Thanks for your time.
