trakker 250 w/ win xp

how do i restore some old data
from trakker tape to my new inspiron computer with windows xp. i tried downloading win 98 driver but get error message when trying to setup. i also installed the
software at the c prompt...all went well until trying to start the program when i received and i/o error.
any ideas what to do?

Hi.

The drive support home page is http://h20015.www2.hp.com/en/product.jhtml?reg=&cc=&lc=en&pagetype=coloradotr9844. In the FAQ you will find HP support statement for XP.

My best bet is that this one is not supported and I don't personally think it will be, but of course I cannot say that for sure.

this answer is correct!
Hp didn??t supprt all floppybased drives under XP!
there is no solution for the case!
