Turning off hardware compression on the actual device via hp software

is this possible and how ?

I have various dlt drive vs80's etc... want to turn off the compression on the actual device. Need to do it through software as all my tape drives are all over the country.

yes it is possible download LTT then go to utility >>> options >>> double click compresion >>> disable >>> start utility.
