Re: Ultrium 1-SCSI - L&TT hangs looking for firmware
Thanks for reporting this issue. We just checked this issue and it is working fine in our setup. This hung is caused mostly due to the proxy settings in your machine.
Could you please check the proxy details of your machine?
You can send the details to "ltt.team@hp.com".
Thanks,
LTT CPE Team

Re: Ultrium 1-SCSI - L&TT hangs looking for firmware
When we try the same in the machines that are in India with a poor internet speed it takes some 30 mins to one hour to get the firmware update screen. Kindly let us know how long it hangs.
Thanks,
LTT CPE Team

Re: Ultrium 1-SCSI - L&TT hangs looking for firmware
The Eventlog file is located at the location "C:\Program Files\HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools\logs".
The procedure for getting a i/o history enabled eventlog file is as follows:
1. From the options menu of LTT, select the "Preferences"
2. Preferences dialog box appears
3. In the "Other Settings" check the "Add I/O history to Eventlog" and say "OK"
4. Restart the tool and then as usual procedure for downloading the firmware files from web.
5. Exit the tool and mail the Eventlog file to "ltt.team@hp.com".
Regards,
Srivathsan
