Ultrium 960 firmware - cannot retrieve Firmware via LTT

Hi all,

I recently bought an Ultrium 960 for home use which has firmware G2AD - according to LTT, G66D is the latest and I'd like to upgrade it however the software errors out when trying to download the firmware.  If I navigate to the path shown in the error via FTP, it is not there.  

Is there another way to get the firmware as it has seemingly moved off the HPE FTP server?  

I do not have a support contract but surely for a product that is way past its production system lifetime it should be free to download firmware?  Locking away expensive software behind a paywall is understandable but not something as simple as device firmware or a diagnostic tool for products that are now well within the grasp of the IT Pro with a hobby.  

Fortunately a friend had a copy of LTT but cannot assist with the firmware acquisition.

LTT never pointed to a HPE FTP server.

Older versions of LTT worked with the hp.com FTP server, but this is another company now.

You need LTT version 4.24 or newer and a support contract to access firmware via LTT or at least a support contract to download firmware from the web.

If you use LTT 4.24 get firmwar option, it points you to the webpage, you need to log on and you get a token.

Then you enter the token into LTT and you are able to access firmware downloads.
