Unable to clean HP 1-8 Ultrium 920 G2 Tape Autoloader

hi everyone

i have a HP 1-8 Ultrium 920 G2 Tape Autoloader with 8 slots of which one slot i have kept as an mailslot. few days back i receive a warring for cleaning the tape drive on which i put my HP universal cleaning tape( C7978A) to clean. but it gave me an error "Library Error - IR: incompatible medium ", hence check the documentation there too it is mention to use the same cleaning tape, so i went to the market an bought a brand new HP universal cleaning tape( C7978A) but still i am getting the same error can anyone please help me this problem
