Uninstalling Colorado 20GB Software and Driver
I am trying to updgrade Windows 2000 Pro to Windows XP Pro. Early in the upgrade routine, as it is checking hardware compatibility, I get the message â The File epatap2k.sys is corrupted.â At that point it gives up and tells you the upgrade is halted.
The problem is referenced in the Microsoft Knowledge Base â article 307161 â and I have followed the instructions for the workaround, which are to: unplug the drive, remove the device driver, and restart the computer. But I'm still getting the same message when the upgrade routine starts up again.
My other problem, which may or may not be related, is that I cannot uninstall the HP Colorado Backup II software. When I go to the uninstall option in the Start folder for the software, all the related functions are g
