Upgraded from Netware 6.0 to 6.5 using Arcserve 9.0 - Surestore 40x6's Autoloader not being detected by system.

Tape Library problem?

Any ideas?

(If this is okay for you)
Try to use another backup software, I suggest you try Tapeware 7.0 with SP3B Updated package.

See below configuration for this setup:

-(tapeware installation)
NW65: LOAD CDROM
NW65: load TapeWare:install

-(SCSI Configuartion)
NW65: unload nwtape
NW65: load nwaspi
NW65: list devices
NW65: load twadmin

-log in to tape, you should now see the devices.

Hi,

I agree with Munir. Your autoloader tape drive is not supported on Novell NetWare 6.5. That's based on HP's documenation.
