Using Tapeassure to clean drive

DUmb question - how do you clean the drive on an ESL 712? I read you can use Tapeassure but I can't find how to do it. Any help woul be appreciated!

IMHO this is a task of the backup software.

You can also move the cleaning tape manually into the drive.

Tapeassure can give you details about the tape usage.
