Virtual Driver Errors Upon Boot

I recently upgraded a client's system to a new motherboard, processor, and RAM. Periodically, Win '98 generates a blue screen during the boot related to virtual drivers assoicated with HP's T3000 tape drive. Any suggestions?

You don't mention what backup software you are trying to use. This may be where the virtual driver is coming from.
