XP and Colorado External 5GB
Hi
I have an external colorado 5Gb drive which I originally used with windows 95/98. I have now migrated to XP and the drive doesn't work under XP, forcing me to reboot to 98 every time I do a backup. After over a year of this, it's getting rather tedious. Does anyone have an update on when XP compatible drivers will be available?
thanks

Re: XP and Colorado External 5GB
Craig,
Hi, My name is Matt, I have been checking for the last few days about a similar situation that I am having and everything I have read points to there not being any chance that what you are looking for is going to happen. My suggestion to you is toi keep a 2000 or 98 se around to do you r backups.... and don't upgrade your firmware between backup's and restore's. I am looking for an older firmware that the 5Gbe shipped with. If you by chance have it, would you please contact me. My email is " m.gaffney@claimtrust.com "
Thanks,
Matt

this link gives you CBII v8.0 which again may not be exactly compatible but with a bit of searching you should find the correct program

sorry the bottom link should now work
