Brocade G620 L_Port configuration

Hello everyone,
i'm in the process of replacing our old brocade 5100 environment with new g620 (fab_os 8.2.2) switches, unfortunately i'm not able to declare a port with a vtl (hpe StoreOnce 4220) attached as L port like on the 5100 environment. i keep getting the following error

xxxxxxxxxx:FID128:admin> portcfglport 10,1
Port 10 is not capable of this setting

can anyone here help me?

Hello ChrisMa,

Greetings...!!

So, portcfglport 10,1  will enable the switch to initialize that port as a fabric L_Port (FL_Port) and Lock it in that mode.

From the StoreOnce side, we only have the option of generating a WWN which gets presented to a Host VIA switch. So the mode operation has nothing to do with the StoreOnce here.
