Hello.
Is it possible to use masks when filtering objects in the GUI of the Storeonce Management Console ? The documentation does not indicate this fact anywhere - it is possible or impossible. In turn, I tried to use the characters * and %, but in this case the search is not performed.
YA.

Re: Filtering Catalyst Items with masks
Hello @yilmazaydin,
The catalyst items can be filtered only with Item Name, Tag List, Created Date, and Modified Date. I want to be more clear on your ask.
- I want to know from which filter Item are trying to filter.
- Also, is that you have an Item Name with a * or X letter in the Item List?
If you can send me a screenshot, it will be more clear.
Links for your reference in case, your are need:

Re: Filtering Catalyst Items with masks
@neutral Ashik, thank you for usefull links - for unknown reasons, I have not read this section "The StoreOnce Catalyst Item filter".
We ask about filter for a substring in to TagList Field like for Item Name field.
Why?
We have multiple backup jobs for the same client. The tags of the objects are almost identical in one field, except for some characters. To filter all objects by the name of the client, which is present in the tag part, a function filter for a substring in to TagList Field is needed.

SolutionHello @yilmazaydin,
As per the document links which I have shared, you can filter the objects with complete words from Tag List. There is no search condition for substrings within Tag List. Those substring searches are only available in the Item Name.
The only tip is - Provide only the most significant word in the tag list to optimize the filtered results.
Hope this answers your query.
Thanks & Regards,
