Storeonce NAS share

Hi guys,

 

i want to know, is it possible to use Storeonce NAS shares as a storage for file share 40TB to a VM. i know it is possible, i want to know if i would face any issues or some risk exposures

Hello @ledvan,

I wanted to understand, that you are trying to backup file share of 40TB to StoreOnce NAS share. If that is the case, there shouldn't be any problem until the workload is the same when you are backing up.

no we are planning to use the storeonce as a primary storage for Disk tier archiving. that why we want to use the NAS feature to present storage to a VM(40TB) which will be used as archive storage.

Hello @ledvan,

Yes, you can mount the NAS Share as a network share on Windows VM and Linux.
