Breaking Bond

I want to test using flow control and jumbo frames. In order to enable these features you need break the IP bond that creates the VIP. Are there any dangers to the volumes on the SAN by doing this?

I assume that you are talking about a P4000 environment from your question. The basic answer would be 'no' but I would ensure that all access to the storage modules has been stopped before undertaking the work.

I have just been through a similar process on a pair of P4500 units attached to VMware hosts with no adverse effects to the data volumes.
