FailOver Manager that is not Virtual
Hi,
Does anyone know if you can install the FOM v9.0 directly onto a windows server?
I donnot have any ESXI servers or hyper-v servers and want to install this FOM directly to the server.
When i try to install the non-esx version, it errors saying that vmware isn't installed
Thanks
James

Re: FailOver Manager that is not Virtual
Hi,
You should use the free VMWare Player, the non-esx FOM is only supported on VMware Player, OR VMWare Server.
vmware player url: http://www.vmware.com/products/player/
vmware server url: http://www.vmware.com/products/server/
I use a server wich is not on the storage nodes, and installed vmware-player and installed the FOM(non-esx) and works prefect.
Hope this helps you.
