How to reconfigure Quorum Witness Share in a VSA 12.6 Cluster

Hello,

I'm running a VSA 12.6 on a VMWare VSphere 6.7 Cluster and the Quorum Witness Share need to be changed (The Server hosting the NFS Share is changing.).

This system is a 2 node cluster with this Quorum Witness Share configured.

Can I perform this without downtime?

How is the procedure performing this action?

Is there any risk/possibility to have the replication stopped and the disks not online?

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards Bernd Schlaupitz

@Bernd Schlaupitz

Sorry about the delay in response.

You can configure Quorum Witness on another Server without downtime as long as the Managers on the 2 VSAs are running fine.

Below Advisory has information on the Quorum Witness and Configuration.

It is always good to have a Back Up before you make any changes.

To add to the above, you can refer the below StoreVirtual Compatibiltiy Guide to get more information about Quorum Witness.
