HP StoreVirtual 12.6 does not work with vSphere guest OS UNMAP

Hi all,

I'm using HP StoreVirtual VSA 12.6.00.0155.0. I've set the advanced ESXi option /VMFS3/EnableBlockDelete to 1 to enable guest UNMAP passthrough, then tried to reclaim the disk space from the Windows 2012 guest. It did not work.

The regular vmfs unmap with "esxcli storage core device vaai status get -l unmap_test" works as expected and reclaimed the disk space on the LUN after I've deleted the test vmdk disk.

Does StoreVirtual VSA work with guest OS UNMAP?
