Hello,
last time we moved a LH node from one Hyper-V Node to another it dropped out of the Management Group.
Anyone got some experience if moving LH Nodes from one Hyper-V Node to another always give such troubles?
Thank you
Andreas Schnederle-Wagner

Solutionshut it down first and then make sure that the MAC accress for the NIC is identical after it moves. The default setting for hyper-v doesn't set this as static so moving it often will cause it to change and that will screw up things with the management group.

Re: P4000 VSA - Hyper-V - move
Are the hyper-v nodes clustered? It shouldnt change the MAC on a migation normally... the MAC should come with the VM...

Re: P4000 VSA - Hyper-V - move
actually it was from a clustered to a non clustered hyper-v, thus it might have changed the MAC. We set the MAC now static, so it shouldn't happen again, in case we have to move it again in the future.
Thanks
