Hello,
After a disk predictabe failure on StroeVirtual P4300G2, we've replace disk and RAID5 is ok now but we always keep a parity error.
I saw other posts on same subject and I've found a disk FW version difference between new disk added and initial disks.
- Does that disk FW version can impact parity error ?
- We installed SPP before of disk replacement but I don't know what is SPP right version. We we installed last version june/2018 and no update needed. We used 2015 version and some upadate were applied. What's the last SSP version for P4300G2?
Thanks for your help

SolutionAFAIR the P4300G2 is a DL185G6, the SPP you used (SPP2018.06) is nor Gen9 and Gen10 servers only.
The latest SPP for G6 servers was 2017.04 and has HPD4 for these drives.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: P4300-G2 - Parity error after disk replacement
Hello Torsten,
I tried 06-2018 SPP and other older but noting was updated. I'm going to dowload 04-2017 and try an update to fix the HDD firmware version.
Thanks for your help
