Unable to connect to serial port

Hi,

 

I'm trying to connect to a P4300 Node via the serial cable: I use putty and 19200-8-n-1 settings for the serial connection. The window opens but no configuration window opens and I am unable to input anything. I'm using a Win7 x64 laptop with USB-to-RS232 adapter.

Same cable, putty, etc. I was able to connect to a HP SAN Switch without any problems.

 

Does someone has an idea what the problem is?
