Hello,
We are planning to upgrade from 12.6 to 12.8. Do we need to shutdown all running vm's before starting the upgrade ? or is the upgrade restarting the VSA node 1 by 1 so we maintaine uptime on our vm's. (3 node cluster). We are planning the upgrade during off peaktime.
Thanks!.

Solutionhi
the upgrade can be done without shuting down VM's.
VSA's will restart only one at a time and wait for resync between
reboots. doing it off peak hours is a good idea.
I would suggest taking a VMware snapshot before starting.
Regards
