all working beautifully...
Write Memory
reload
Now the 5400 lost all it's stuff but it's ip address... ip routing turned off etc...
It is still plugged into a 2650...
what gives...

By default there will only be the file 'config'
ProCurve Switch 5406zl# show config files

different 5400
It has to be me...
It has been fine all day...
I did a write memory from the config#
and then "reload"
bam...
back to factoy...
Only one config file shows up

SolutionI like to do it via TFTPd32 or ProCurve Manager Plus (very easy). The management and configuration guide has more information on updating the firmware.
