5412zl - failover routing
Hello,
I've got 2 5412zl switches without the premium license, so I cloudn't use VRRP. But I need to get an automatically routing failover function.
SRP is also not implemented.... any ideas ?

Re: 5412zl - failover routing
unfortunately, to have automatic routing failover (VRRP) you need to have the premium license on the 3500/5400 platforms...and in your case, a separate license for both of the 5412's...
basic routing and rip routing won't do it...
not the answer you want, but it is the facts...
cheers...jeff
