Adding 802.1x devices to NAC 800 Quarantining
Hello everyone,
We are trying to add 802.1x devices to our NAC 800. Specifically, our 5406zl switch.
We're trying to establish the connection between NAC800 and the switch through SSH, but we are running into problems.
Could not open ssh connection to device: Failed to read remote identification
We have ssh enabled on the switch. Testing with PCM is always successful and I can ssh to the switch from anywhere. However, this does not work with the NAC. What are we missing?
Switch: 5406zl SW version k.12.57
NAC: NAC software version 1.0.22
PCM: version 2.322
Thank you.

Re: Adding 802.1x devices to NAC 800 Quarantining
Issue resolved.
It turns out I had set only one authorized manager: the PCM server. I thought authorized managers only applied to SNMP (thats what it says in the help).
Turns out it applies to ssh as well. After adding the NAC to the list of authorized managers, it worked ok.
