adding c3000 blade system to msa 1500cs via 2 fiber switches.
Feb 29, 2008 22:35:45 GMT
We just purchased a c3000 blade system kit with 2 half height blades and a brocade 4GB 4/12 SAN switch interconnect module. We would like to attach it to our current msa1500 fiber switch (HP Storageworks 4/8 SAN Switch) which currently has one more port available in the zone.
I'm wondering how we need to configure the zoning/domain ID/subnet to add our c3000 to the existing SAN fabric. Do I need to create another zone? Set up ISL Trunking? Can the two fiber switches be in the same subnet? Is there any documentation to set this up?
Thanks in advance!

You posted in the wrong forum. Better lookup something in the storage forum

yes, I did. But received no response. I'll try again or just call support.
