AP420 802.1x reauthentication value
Hi there,
We've got a series of the 420 ap, and I'm seeing something odd.
When using 802.1x, the re-authentication values is specified in seconds. If I e.g. set this value to 1200 (20 min.), the client stations keeps reauthenticating every 5 sec or so. When I set the value to 0, there's no problem.
Has anyone seen this before? My first thought was that maybe the value is really specified in miliseconds, though they state otherwise..?
Thanks in advance,
Rasmus

Re: AP420 802.1x reauthentication value
I haven't checked this out with our 420's, because we don't use 802.1x yet, but the one thing I can ask is what firmware version are you using? 2.1.5 is the latest I believe.
Cheers,
Brann

We use the latest.
I opened a case with HP yesterday. Hopefuly they'll figure something out in their lab.

Re: AP420 802.1x reauthentication value
If I get a chance I'll test this myself next week with 2.1.5. One question, did you set this through the CLI or through the web interface? I noticed in the past that the show commands from the CLI gave a different output to what you would have expected.
Last time I tested in 2.1.3 using the web interface the re-authentication values worked properly for me.
