Connections problems to specefic IP addresses
Hi,
I am pretty new to this, so please be patience with me :-)
I have a problem with one of my setup in our Hong Kong office..
Let me describe my setup first
Internet - HP3500 - HP2626
From my HP3500 i can ping all known addresses
From the HP2626 not all ip addresses are available
Ping from HP3500
HK-WAN-HP3500# ping 77.68.129.64
77.68.129.64 is alive, time = 359 ms
HK-WAN-HP3500# ping 8.8.8.8
8.8.8.8 is alive, time = 26 ms
HK-WAN-HP3500#
Ping from HP2626
TC-HK DMZ SW# ping 77.68.129.64
77.68.129.64 is alive, time = 350 ms
TC-HK DMZ SW# ping 8.8.8.8
Target did not respond.

The big problem in this case is that I cant access my isp dns from the HP2626

in the 2626 did you configure ip default gateway or static default route ?
Also try to trace the route from a PC and check.
