How to add another subnet to my existing network
I have a HP ProCurve 6108 switch which does basic IP routing
I would like to add another subnet to my network. So far I only have 192.168.0.x on my network but now I would like to have 192.168.1.x
I would like the computers connected to 192.168.0.x to go to the dhcp server on network 192.168.1.x and get an ip address from it.

Hi wahmed,
it's not clear that how many hosts
u gonna add to these 192.168.0.x and 192.168.1.x networks.You don't need to do any subnetting since both are two different networks. You can subnet ur existing 192.168.0.x network based on number of hosts or network requirement.
You subnetmask will change after subneting.
if you use a mask of 255.255.255.128 which will
give you 2 subnets namely 192.168.0.0/25(255.255.255.128) and
192.168.0.128/25(255.255.255.128).
put 2 vnas into these 2 networks.
configure ip-helper address 192.168.1.x on 6108 ,that is dhcp server in 192.168.1.x ,so that 192.168.0.x will get ip address from 192.168.1.x .
