HP Procurve 2650 with Network Monitoring

Hi,

Is Procurve 2650 enabled to do network monitoring? I'm trying to install a PC with 2 network card so that i could stream all network through this pc and monitor what is being downloaded or uploaded.

For the 2600 series of switches, there is a feature called "Port Mirroring", through which you can designate a port for monitoring inbound (ingress) and outbound (egress) traffic of other ports and of static trunks on the switch.
The switch monitors the network activity by copying all inbound and outbound traffic on the specified interfaces to the designated monitoring port, to which a network analyzer can be attached.
