My routing switch reload. I find document id: CSCEC71568 - "IP Policy Route cause switch to reload". It's document solution for HP Procurve Routing Switch 9304M?

Thanks Ron. Yes, my router contains this firmware. I think, what is it malfunction of the equipment. How to find out precisely?

I confirm, my switch 9308 have the same problem. I think this is a software bug.
Problems appears under newest firmware (07.8.00a) only.

Me HP9304M was reloaded with firmware 07.7.01bT53. With a new firmware 07.8.00aT53 the problem has remained.

1)Where did you find the document you are talking about? (CSCEC71568)
2)What do the logfiles of the 93xx tell you?
3)What happens now, when you upgraded the firmware?
4)Is there a known trigger for the reload?
5)What is you rconfig?
6)What is your topology?

And your assumptions are based on what? As soon as you see or experience something you cannot cope with or explain then you assume that there must be a bug in the sofware version or a hardware bug/error?

Sometimes simultaneously all ports "DOWN" and in some seconds - "UP". But it not reload the router.

I think that is software bug because switch working with the same configuration under
07.7.01bT53 and 07.8.00aT53 but hi have troubles only under newest firmware...
After upgrade I don't modify configuration.

I don't exclude, that I can be mistaken...

Your HP9304 have EP or non-EP modules... ???

My HP9304 have non-EP module - J4857A mini-GBIC Management Redundant M4.

Please, see attach file "Tech_Log.txt".

After I have removed almost all loading from this router (now I have started up all traffic through other router) he began to be reloaded seldom, and before (under loading) every day.

I have obtained official position from HP Poland, that software 07.8.00aT53 can cause automatic restart HP9308. Can somebody confirm it?

I can tell, that after returning the version with 07.8.00aT53 on 07.7.01bT53 unexpected
(unplanned) restart was not present.
