hp5300 inability to reach random web addresses

My network begins with a 5300 as a core switch with 16 vlans/buildings, each using a 5300 as an edge switch. Recently, access to certain, random websites behind one of the edge 5300 switch became unaccessable by both ping and browser. All other network access is normal, including access to a majority of websites.

There has not been any configuration changes on the network. The switch is running v10.55. It only this one switch that seems to be having the problem.

My next action is to reboot the switch. Has anybody seen this type of activity?
