Info on Nortel TPS

Hi Friends,

I'm not sure posting it in right forum, pls forgivr if it isn't.

I'm in a process to compare Nortel Threat Protection System (2150IS & 2070DC combination in inline TPS mode)with other available IPS options, like ISS Proventia, Juniper etc.

NOw, I first want to know is Nortel TPS is same as any other IPS technology-wise? what are the pros & cons of TPS vis-a vis an IPS? is TPS fully capable to treat the traffic the way an IPS does?

I'll appriciate if any IPS/ TPS guru can focus more light on the comparision part, and other related information.
