Losing packets during switchover of LANs in team
Hi all,
we`re losing some packets during switchover of LANs which are teamed using dual channel load balancing. One of the NICs is connected to procurve 2848, the other NIC is connected to another one procurve 2848. Switches are bridged and on RPS. Tree spanning is off.
So for example when I unplug the LAN cable from teamed NIC1 one ping request gets lost.
Any idea how to fix this??
Is it right that with the HP Networking Client Utility version 9.0 the option dual channel load balancing is not supported anymore? Do you know the cause? Is there some replacement feature?

1 ping only? I think that's as good as you'll ever get.

Re: Losing packets during switchover of LANs in team
Indeed - the packet "on the wire" when you pull it will almost certainly be lost. And perhaps more - those already in the driver's transmit queue will probably be lost.
