mirror port on 2824 switch
Hi All,
I have mirrored the port 14 to port 13 so I can run diagnostic system on port 13. From what I understand the mirror port 13 or SPAN (for another name) should only be getting data from port 14 and it is not a bidirectional port but I can connect to the system via the same port (13) as it only has one nice.
Could someone explain it to me please why I can access the SPAN port 13?
thanks
Nyan
