modem sound
I use a compaq nx9000 notebook with a Conexant 56k AClink modem. On first installation, my modem worked perfectly and I could hear its sound while connecting to the Net. But after a second installation (I had to reinstall my operating system and all my applications), the modem works but I can't hear its sound although I put its sound on maximum. I have heard from some other people that they had the same problem with HP notebooks and the same modem. Is there a solutionto this problem? Thanks in advance.

Re: modem sound
Vladimir,
what does mean "I put its sound on maximun"? Modem sound is not submitted to audio card. You could insert command L3 into init string.
Also look for last driver here
