Set limits for broadcast traffic.
This is the last command i found, am not sure it will help.
try to submet an inquiry on my.procurve.com for the sales team as you are new and want to buy procurve switch so u r asking about the above ;)
on my.procurve.com go to My Support and then to Sales assistance. dont tell :D

Hi Damian,
You'll always see the three messages (off-line, blocked by stp, on-line) in the logs when a port goes down and back up, even if STP isn't running on a switch.
Can you provide any more information on the multicast errors you're seeing on your system (DAP)?
