NC7131 gig transfer speed issues
Hi,
I am currently testing out GIG transfer speeds and have run in to some problems. I am using the 7131 in all the servers and connecting them to the Cisco 4507R. Eveything is hard set for port speed and the cabling is all CAT5E. When I transfer smaller files under 1gig in size I get very fast speeds, Around a 1gig per minute. When I try at 10gig file my speed slows down to 100mb speed. I started testing with 2 ML370 servers with 1gig ram and 5302 raid controllers. Is GIG nic's a burst rate only are am I missing something here.
Thanks
Alex
