Network Services not up after restore the root filesystem

My HP DL 570G Server has 5 Serial SCSI 146GB disks. Out of these, disk 0 and 1 are mirrored and 2 and 3 are mirrored each other. Disk 4 is hot spare for disk 0 and 1. Redhat Linux 4 64-bit has installed in first mirrored pair. Second pair is currently not using. Server has eth0 and eth1 and two HBA cards. There are 6 filesystems namely /, /boot, /opt, /usr, /var and /u01 and EMC power path and some other software are running on the system. I got dump backup from all filesystems and keeps in the tape. Then I restore the root backup copy and restart the system. But power path and network service didn’t get up. When I checked the messages log, it has ‘MAC address is different than expected.’ error and some other errors. What could be the problem?
