new vlan in 2524 makes the system slow
I created a new vlan , other than the default one, and now i find that when this new vlan is active , the server becomes dead slow .I have assigned only 2 ports to this vlan .The rest are in the default vlan .If i unplug the cables of the new vlan , the server is back to normal .can somebody help ?

What are you plugging into this new VLAN?
One thing that comes to mind is the 2524 has a single mac-address forwarding table. If it sees the same mac-address on different VLANs you will packet loss issues.

I am plugging RJ45 cables ,conneting my server to 2524 .
I see in the specs of 2524 that it supports 30 VLAN's .Then why do i get this problem .
