PCM 3 procurve_firmware.prp editing
In PCM 2.3 I use to edit the procurve_firmware.prp file to accept new firmware updates that were not posted to the prp file online but now in 3 it doesn't seem to be working. (Please see picture attached for my PRP edit). Maybe this is just an error in my config.
I noticed the updates available on their ftp site where PCM downloads the firmware has the filenames a little different. Is there something different with the firmware files found at: ftp://ftp.hp.com/ftp1/pub/networking/software/ that allow PCM to let them update that is different from the ones found on the html download pages for the switches? I know I can manually update to 14.47 and that works but would like for PCM to do it due to the large number of switches we have. Currently the PRP file only has up to 14.41 and the ftp site above only has up to 14.41 in the prp and firmware files. The error it gives is: Device not currently supported, Refresh complete.
