PCM Client loads cripplingly slow

Post logon the drawings, topology, and database takes 100 times longer than it did just a month ago. probably around 1580 devices in the database until now about 1685 devices managed.

Is there a DB limitation? The Main Server and all the Agents load at normal speed.

What could be the problem?

Whats the PCM version you are on ? Has there been any change in your PCM deployment since the time you started seeing the issue ?

I think this could be a client-side issue. Perhaps Java fighting with it. I don't know but I am up to 1700 devices and the server meets and in some respects exceeds the requirements.

Error message displays once in a while about like this. "Unable to reach My ProCurve Portal...." [ see attached ] Googled that message as well. Turned up nothing so far.
