Problems LACP HP1800 with Intel Server
Hello group!
I'm trying to establish a LACP-Connection between
an HP1800-Switch and an Intel Pro 1000 PT Dualport. Link is established, the switch
shows the connection, the network-card also.
I test with 4 servers sending data to the
Intel-Server, but i am not able to transfer more than 1 Gb/s to the server. When using an HP 2824
i can do. Any hints for this?
Thanks in advanced
Peter

Did you setup a trunk on the 1800? The 2824 had LACP passive enabled by default, whereas I don't believe the 1800 does.

I tested a trunk and use the trunk option on
the intel-card. But performance is the same,
below 1 gb/s.

Re: Problems LACP HP1800 with Intel Server
Your right Matt, LACP is disabled on the 1800 by default.
pescha,
Be sure you have a functional trunk running between the 1800 and the 2824. Did you configure the trunk section of the 1800 for LACP or Trunks?
