Procurve 2512, Reset hardware counters?
Hello!
I have a J4812A#ABB PROCURVE SWITCH 2512 and I inserted a gigabit-tranciever (J4132A) while it
was powered on.
The hardware counters seem to have gotten messed up (look below), is there any way to reset them?
Regards Erik Kjellin / Port80 AB

Re: Procurve 2512, Reset hardware counters?
Yes, but that would have the same effect as clearing
the counters via the menues. This would only be temporary.
Once a new console session is initiated, the counters will
revert back to the values maintained by the switch hardware.

Re: Procurve 2512, Reset hardware counters?
"I'm afraid" then you'd have to re-load basic configuration from ROM, to reset all parameters...
