Can I replace the fan in a procurve 2810 with a stock fan?
one of the fans on my procurve 2810 is not working. The switch is working but the amber fault light is blinking.
thanks,

Re: procurve 2810 fan not working.
they look to be standard 40mm fans. The broken one I pulled from the switch is model TA150DC. Plenty of them on ebay.
thanks,

Re: procurve 2810 fan not working.
Steve,
Seriously send it back to HP. I sent one back because the fan was too noisy and it was disturbing the office it was located in (fan blades were rubbing against the case). Lifetime warrentee means you don't have to fiddle around on ebay finding parts.
