Procurve manager - Download of latest software

Hi,
I have procurve manager running
but when I put it through my MS proxy server that is running web sence ..web sence is blocking it.

The issue is that it is trying to pass anonomus as the login credentials which web sence blocks.

It needs to send the local macnine credentials as the login to the proxy and web sence.

Is there a reg hack as I cant find anywhere to enter this.

I do not remember is it possible to enter proxy username/password on the PCM. And right now I have no PCM installed to check this. The problem also can be with proxy authetication type - Basic/WindowsEncripted etc. MS recomends to disable clear text proxy auth modes. This is right from security point of view. But a lot of programs (downloaders, p2p clients, etc) only can use basic, unencrypted authentication method.

You might want to try using the Firewall Client and WinSock proxy.

Agree with Les. Install FW client to PCM station. Configure ISA to allow fwclient access.
